Drop in any picture and Pixitly reads the clues hidden inside it, dusts it for digital fingerprints, and gives you a straight, evidence-backed lean: genuine photo or machine-made mirage.
Upload any photo. Pixitly reads its metadata, fingerprints, and pixel clues — then hands you a verdict you can actually understand.
Step 1 — Drop your evidence
Step 2 — The verdict
Your verdict lands here. Local clues run in your browser; if the live Pixitly server is connected, the photo is analyzed there and auto-deleted.
AI likelihood
What gave it away
The game that trains your eye. A mystery image appears, buried in pixels. Guess early for big points: genuine photo or AI invention?
Three layers of detective work on every photo — plain-English clues, weighed in the open.
We read the photo’s hidden diary: camera data, edit history, and C2PA authenticity credentials when they exist.
Generator tags, camera EXIF and hidden text chunks are read directly from the file when they exist.
Noise, sharpness, blockiness and color patterns are measured — then weighed cautiously, never treated as proof.
No jargon. A clear call, a confidence score, and the exact tells — so you learn to spot fakes yourself.

You may use Pixitly only if you can legally agree to these terms. If you are under the age required to consent where you live, a parent or guardian must supervise your use.
PixCheck results are likelihood estimates produced by automated analysis, not forensic proof. AI detection is an arms race: no tool is always right. Do not use a verdict alone to accuse someone of fakery or to make legal, journalistic or employment decisions.
You keep all rights in photos you upload. You give Pixitly permission to process an upload only as needed to provide the check you requested. Photos are analyzed and auto-deleted — we don’t build a library of your images. Do not upload photos you don’t have the right to share, or sensitive personal images.
Do not misuse the site, disrupt its operation, attempt unauthorized access, automate abusive traffic, copy the site itself for resale, or use results to impersonate, deceive, harass or violate another person’s rights or applicable law.
Game scores live on your own device unless you share them. You keep your rights in anything you enter or create.
The site’s design, text, games and code belong to Pixitly. You may share verdict cards and game scores for personal, non-commercial fun with credit.

Uploaded photos are processed to provide the check you requested and then auto-deleted. Local clues run in your browser; if the live Pixitly server is connected, the photo is analyzed there and auto-deleted.
Your best score is stored in your browser’s local storage, on your device only. Clearing site data erases it. We never see it.
Hosting and security providers may automatically receive ordinary request data such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps and diagnostic logs. They process this data to deliver and protect the site.

Pixitly uses Google Analytics (GA4) only after you accept optional cookies. If you decline, analytics is not loaded and no measurement cookies are set. When accepted, Google Analytics uses measurement cookies to count visits and feature use; IP anonymization is enabled.
For visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland, optional advertising and analytics storage stays off unless consent is given through the privacy notice. Declining optional cookies never blocks core site functions.
